Micro-frontends are a controversial pattern — they solve real org-scale problems but introduce real complexity. This project is the senior-engineering judgement exercise: prototype the pattern, hit real walls (versioning, shared dependencies, deploy coordination), and write the honest trade-off analysis. The writeup is the most valuable deliverable. Senior engineers are paid for judgement, and "we considered micro-frontends and chose not to use them" is often the right answer.
