Risk Management Case Study

Walk through a real (or famous historical) project — identify what went wrong, what risks were missed, and what mitigations would have helped.

About this project

Risk management is the senior-PM judgement skill. This project teaches it through case study: pick a real failed (or troubled) project — Healthcare.gov, the F-35, FoxMeyer's ERP disaster, or a recent tech rollout — and write up a thorough risk-management retrospective. Focus on the meta-skill: which risks were knowable in advance, and which were genuinely unforeseeable?

Why build this in 2026?

Public PM writing differentiates senior candidates faster than any cert. One thoughtful case study can land interviews.
